Why is the DP not shaken by either dissent or resignations?

A member of the Democratic Party, Tomor Alizoti, has opposed the voices that demand the expulsion of Ervin Salianj from the party. The person who has requested the expulsion is Sali Berisha. Under normal circumstances, such a statement would cause some kind of confusion in the DP. But in fact, nothing happens. Everyone calls it simply a statement that does not spoil the person's work.
A former public relations secretary resigned yesterday, criticizing the DP for limiting the powers of persons formally declared in leadership and for a series of remarks regarding the lack of openness of the DP, ignoring voted figures, non-transparent procedures for lists, etc.
Before her, several other Democratic Party figures have severed ties with the party for the same reasons, and some have even joined the ruling Socialist Party.
Again, there is an indifference within the party and no one is upset. Berisha himself called the resignation for personal reasons, while she lists political problems of the DP.
But why is the DP not shaken by either the dissidence or the resignations of its officials?
The reason is that the real DP has neither deputies, nor officials, nor real institutions, nor elections, nor competition, nor transparency. It has only a chairman who needs the party as a logo and seal for his troubles and all these official leaders, deputies and everyone else are formalities that he has to lie to the public. They would have value if the DP were a real party, if those elected to these positions had gone there because of their electoral power and influence in society and above all if the DP had an internal democracy based on its statute.
This does not exist and for this reason any movement within the DP or any departure from it does not affect Berisha's peace of mind, as he is not there to have a large party that gains power, but a formal party that leaves him in power at the head of the DP.
In any other circumstance, a move by Salijanj that fills the halls more than Berisha would have alarmed every party. He is practically eating the DP from within and could do even more damage from an electoral point of view, but no one is worried about that, since the DP's electoral losses for 13 years have a ready-made excuse: "Rama stole them from us." So they don't shake Berisha.
The resignations also do not shake him because what is called the DP's dome is a facade. The real dome of the DP is Berisha, the son, the daughter and the only rivalries that exist in the DP are those between the son and the daughter. For the sake of truth, the son is a bigger contributor than the daughter, because at least he pays lek from his businesses to maintain a party for his father, while the daughter takes maximum care of him at home to have a father for the party.
Under these conditions, don't expect Berisha to feel disturbed by Salianj's move, Alizot's dissent, the resignations of leaders and everything else. For him, they are a facade that he quickly corrects. The only shock for him is if the children fight with each other over who is sacrificing more to keep their father as party leader until death.
If you hear such news, stay alert because something is going to happen. Until then, stay calm.
