Prime Minister's Advisor Baton Haxhiu: Rama will no longer tolerate SPAK

In the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, the majority's refusal to lift Belinda Balluku's immunity, at the request of SPAK, was discussed.

According to Baton Haxhiu, (Edi Rama's media advisor as he himself has claimed), the majority will no longer tolerate the lack of professionalism of prosecutors, while Enton Abilekaj said that Rama is not concerned about human rights or legal security, but is defending Balluku.

Baton Haxhiu : Rama is feeling confident that the issue of EU entry is almost certain, since we are lucky to have geopolitics as a favor. The second thing he said, which for me was probably the most important, is that in April, or soon, our path will be determined and this case will not affect our path to the EU. Regarding the judiciary, it was a criticism of unprofessionalism, but this does not mean that he does not support independent justice.

Enton Abilekaj : Immunity should be lifted, then this will be discussed. After he blocks justice, then criticism...

Baton Haxhiu : You mentioned Ilir Beqaj, but you said he is in prison and no one is dealing with him. You also said one more thing, those little ones that we don't know at all, the Council of Europe has shown us that they have been in prison for years and there is no one to protect them. Human rights and freedoms, legal certainty...

Enton Abilekaj : When we said it about Ilir Meta... Rama does not have this interest, legal certainty.

Baton Haxhiu : Now they say we no longer tolerate. The new paradigm on justice is happening because of Belinda Balluku.

Enton Abilekaj : Since he remembered too late, to surrender his immunity, then discuss whether changes should be made to the justice reform, since we ourselves have criticized it.

Baton Haxhiu : In Europe, you can't investigate without getting prior approval, we don't have it. If the German minister is informed that the prosecution can investigate to the end... What is the problem for me, the authorization for the restriction of freedom, which the parliament must do, must have some justification. If it creates a standard to take someone's freedom, this is a problem.
