"Company with Russian connections won the Porto Romano tender"/ Journalist Poli Hoxha: The Prime Minister is involved in the negotiations for the Niš-Prishtina-Durrës railway! SPAK may suspend it very soon

Journalist Poli Hoxha, invited to the "Studio24" show on News24 , commented on the recent developments between politics and justice in the country, while focusing on the investigations related to former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, for whom SPAK has requested the arrest.
According to Hoxha, the Special Prosecution's investigations are not limited to Balluku, but may also extend to other important issues, including major infrastructure projects.
The journalist revealed that documentation related to the Porto Romano Port project, an investment considered of strategic importance, was recently seized.
"Recently, all documentation for the port of Porto Romano was seized. This is more profound because Edi Rama has entered into corruption games that have turned into geostrategic games," Hoxha said.
He claimed that large international companies were excluded from the competition for the project, while according to him, a company with an unclear ownership structure was selected.
"The largest French port construction company was disqualified and was not even allowed to complain. The same thing happened with a large German company. In the end, a company was found that starts in Greece, passes through two 'offshore' companies and ends up in Russia," he declared.
According to Hoxha, other investigations are related to the agreement for the Nis-Pristina-Durres railway, which was signed in the office of US President Donald Trump during his first term, while the project's feasibility tender was won in 2023. The final tender, which according to him is worth around 700 million euros, has been postponed.
The journalist also added that other investigations could also be related to the energy sector, citing transactions carried out during the time this field was under Balluk's direction.
Hoxha also commented on the Appeals Court's decision to suspend Balluk, emphasizing that this decision creates a precedent for senior government officials.
"With the findings of SPAK, I think that the suspension of the prime minister could be requested very soon. I have not spoken to prosecutors, but looking at the information circulating about the mention of his name in investigations, this could become a legal obligation for prosecutors," he said.
