Zayn Malik's family appeals for charity amid concerns over his health

Zayn Malik and his family have given an update to fans after the singer was hospitalized for an unspecified illness, worrying his followers around the world.
It all started earlier this month when Malik canceled several scheduled promotional appearances for his new album. Concerns were further heightened after he posted a photo from the hospital on social media, without giving details about his condition.
In his first public response since then, his cousin, Sasha Malik, thanked fans for their continued support and efforts to send flowers. However, she explained that for practical reasons, accepting them is not possible.
In lieu of gifts, the singer's family - with Zayn's own approval - has asked fans to make donations in his name to "The Palestine Project", via the JustGiving platform. According to reports, the funds will be channeled through Islamic Relief and will be used for emergency aid, including food, clean water, shelter and medical care for families in need in Palestine.
The campaign had an initial target of 27 thousand pounds, which was exceeded thanks to the contribution of over 800 donors.
Meanwhile, the singer's fans are hoping for a speedy recovery, as he is expected to launch a world tour in May 2026 in Manchester, with stops in the UK, US, Mexico, Brazil and finishing in Miami in November.
