'You discriminated against him because he is Albanian', the actor "explodes" against the Macedonian government, the Municipality of Tetovo immediately makes the decision

Actor Rezart Veleshnja, who was one of the closest friends of singer Shpat Kasapi, has reacted sharply to the disrespect shown to the artist by the Macedonian authorities.

According to the actor, just as years ago this country declared a day of mourning for the loss of artist Tose Proeski, it should have done the same today.

According to Veleshnja, this lack of respect for Shpatin came only because of the fact that he is Albanian.

"A state that you can't even call a state! Shame and black face, discrimination at its best. Macedonians declared a day of mourning for Tose Proeski, while for Shpat Kasapi they remained indifferent only because he is Albanian! Shame on them," the actor writes, while shortly after this reaction of Veleshnja, the Municipality of Tetovo also reacted, deciding that the following day, December 1, would be declared a day of mourning in honor of singer Shpat Kasapi.

Part of the tributes to the artist present this Sunday was the Mayor of Tetova, Bilall Kasami.

"Farewell, Shpat Kasapi! Tetova lost a great artist, a good man, a son of hers and a friend of her youth. May you become a flower of paradise, Shpat ," said Kasami.
