"We have been in opposition for 13 years, we need haste, not

Former MP Ervin Salianji spoke about the general state of the Democratic Party and its performance in elections and protests, describing the situation as weak and repeated for years.

He stated on the "Studio24" show that the opposition cannot continue to ask for patience after so many years in opposition, emphasizing the need for immediate change.

"We have been in opposition for 13 years, we don't need patience, we need great haste, a strong reaction, a strong confrontation. What patience do we have, we have been in opposition for 13 years and we are much weaker than before," said Salianji.

He also commented on the result of the May 11 parliamentary elections, considering it weak and emphasizing that the problems of distorting the will of the voters remain the same.

"The result of the parliamentary elections of May 11 was weak. All the elements related to the deformation of the will of the voters are the same as before. While today we have an even weaker result," he declared.

Salianji also criticized the selection of candidates and the way the protest was organized, saying that the lack of representation of structures has contributed to the low turnout.

"There was a mistake in the selection of candidates for MPs, disrespecting the contributions of valuable people in the DP. One reason why the protest was so weak in participation is because people in structures that have contributions and support were avoided. The DP gathers so many people in one city," concluded Salianji.
