Analyst Preç Zogaj, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, deconstructed the platform started by Ervin Salianji and Ilir Alimehmeti with the supporters of the DP. Zogaj listed 4 messages that come to the DP from these meetings and stated that Berisha has not learned lessons from his history at the head of the DP during his 35 years here.
"I think that what Alimehmeti and some others, Saljani, and also some more voted ones, are doing was a gesture, in my opinion, a gesture that contains a little provocation, but a positive provocation.
Whoever was in need or was called upon, gathered to deliver some messages in my opinion.
One message was that these people, as the ones with the most votes, want to give the message of respect for voters and for the vote as the foundation of democracy, and they have God's right to do so.
These people can't wait forever, nothing is happening, because they were voted in. They have a greater responsibility than those who didn't vote, towards the voters, so this was the first message that I think is positive.
The second message, I think, is that they are seeking, opposing, the division of the elite of the Democratic Party into two groups, into patricians, as I said, and plebeians. The patricians are those who are neither voted for, nor in the party, nor in the people, and the plebeians are those who are voted for, both in the party and in the people, to get the votes for them.
And they have reason to do this, they are within God's right, because in the final analysis, very few have entered the Democratic Party parliamentary group.
It seems to me that he entered, I don't know how many of these people entered, 6 if I'm not mistaken, all of them, so nationwide, six entered, only 1 entered in Tirana.
So, those who are the most voted are a minority within a minority. It means that essentially the list has been closed and has remained closed. And if they didn't do this and this, then the votes they received from the voters would be haram for them.
Another message that Alimehmeti more or less also said has to do with the renewal of the Democratic Party.
Those who received the most votes have the right, I mean the right of God, to tell the party that we are more acceptable than those who did not dare to be voted for.
Then, that these patricians that I call, were not even included in the primaries. So, they were protected from the popular vote and from the party vote. Those who were voted, of course, cannot be indifferent to this discrimination that we have never seen before.
And the fourth message, I think, which is still positive, has to do with shaking up this party and has had its effects, because what is happening now, these developments after their meetings, we cannot analyze without being linked to the gesture that they made. The Democratic Party has never made a serious analysis of the loss of the elections in relation to internal factors, so every time it has lost and lost a lot, it has always focused on stealing from Edi Rama, Fatos Nano once, the other one once. It has never seriously stopped to see if we had any problems, any defects.
"Now, Berisha's reaction to me is reminiscent and I am surprised, infinitely surprised, how this man has not learned lessons from his history," said Zogaj.
