Alesia Balliu "explodes" against Berisha: The protest failed, there weren't even 300 people

Alesia Balliu has reacted harshly to the opposition's latest protest, describing it as poor in participation and without concrete messages for citizens.
In an interview with "Abc News", she said that the protest failed to offer alternatives to the country's main problems, such as the economy or healthcare.
According to Balliu, the mobilization was much weaker compared to the protests that the Democratic Party has held in the past.
"The protest produced noise, I have no information about who pays those who throw Molotov cocktails. The protest did not produce any concrete ideas, what citizens want to hear about the economy and healthcare. Yesterday there were not even 300 or 400 people in the protest, we were with Lul Basha in the protest when it was raining and we were in massive protests," she said.
Balliu dismissed the accusations about the presence of weapons at the DP headquarters, emphasizing that such claims severely damage the image of the political force.
"I have been to the DP headquarters and I cannot say that there is an arsenal of weapons. It is a denigration and it is fitting that we are bankrupting this political force that pays and citizens do not go out of their way. It is better to declare political bankruptcy," Balliu said.
In her statement, Alesia Balliu reiterated her critical stance towards the current leadership of the DP and said that the party should support international partners and SPAK.
"I respect the statute and I say again that I fight for democracy and Albania, I give up my candidacy the moment Berisha leaves. The DP should be pro-internationals and SPAK, not that the DP has the problem, but only Berisha has it," she declared.
Balliu also commented on Flamur Noka's role in the political language used within the party, accusing him of inciting hatred and labeling opponents.
"Flamur Noka conveys the spirit of hatred by labeling. It is Berisha who decides and signs, but Noka conveys the language of lynching. He does not even spare the women and the women of that party, my reaction was personal thanks to that labeling," said Balliu.
