"The opposition lacks leadership!"/ Rama: Trying to capture the media does not lead to winning the hearts of citizens

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the next episode of the podcast "Flasim", spoke about the report on the coverage of politics in the Albanian media. He stated that 60% of television time is taken by the opposition, while adding that, contrary to what the latter claims, the media in Albania are not captured.
"Any attempt to capture the media is an attempt that does not lead to the victory of the hearts and minds of the people and on the other hand, of course, by letting everyone say what they want, it is then easier for people to make the difference", he said.
The head of government added that currently not only the DP, but the entire opposition camp lacks leadership.
This week I posted an analysis made by a startup of talented Albanian guys with artificial intelligence to collect and evaluate the direction of media positions, articles and assessments, comments in traditional media and online media in relation to politics and I posted it because it was a reflection that personally does not surprise me since I and we know very well the factual reality of the relationship between the media and the government and the ruling majority, which is nowhere near the reality claimed by the screamers who do not know what else to do with media freedom, except to complain about the lack of freedom, but which was a reflection in my opinion valuable to share with many who want to be informed, with many who are interested in facts and with many who in all cases do not lose respect for the facts and do not enter into a fight with the facts when the facts prove an opinion different from his or hers, and in this reflection it clearly results that of the entire set of media products in relation to politics 60% of television time in Albania, in total, the opposition takes it in the sense of an anti-government stance, another part, factual analysis presented as balanced and a very small part as pro-government. Meanwhile, the same situation is more or less the same in the online media, that is, in the portals that clearly lean towards the front, towards the camp of those who are against the government, and for this I am sincerely glad because it becomes clear that here we are not in a country of captured media, here we are not in a country where the mouths of those who speak, comment, argue, write against the government are shut, but here we are in a country that, like nowhere else, dominates precisely the opposite of that dominance that characterizes countries with captured media or with media that serve electoral regimes or autocracies.
So, having said all this, I have a very simple theory as to why any attempt to capture the media is an attempt that does not lead to winning the hearts and minds of the people, and on the other hand, of course, by letting everyone say what they want, people then have an easier time distinguishing between those who do the work, those who try every day, those who even fall, but fall in an attempt to move forward, and those who lie in their armchairs and scream through the insurmountable fences set up by themselves due to the lack of vision, the lack of a program, the lack of leadership, the lack of much else that characterizes that camp as a whole today, and we are not just talking about one party, we are talking about the whole.
So this is a note that I chose to close this week's notes, being very curious to see the continuation of the analyses conducted by a program completely free from bias and based on the power of artificial intelligence.
