The 28th edition of the Tirana Book Fair begins, publishers complain about libraries

At the opening of the Book Fair, publishers raised concerns about the state of libraries and the lack of financial support for authors and translators.

The 28th edition of the fair will remain open until November 16 at the Palace of Congresses.

At the opening of the book fair, the head of the Albanian Publishers Association raised the deplorable state of libraries as a concern.

Alessandro Ruggero from the Italian Institute of Culture emphasized the funding and investments that need to be made for Albanian publishers and translators in order to have better book quality.

As the only activity of this type and size, the book fair aroused the interest of readers and visitors from the first day.

The little ones were clearer in their choices.
