Saturday, even though it was the weekend at the Academy of Sciences, was like any other day, as the promotion of writer Ahmet Prençi's newest book, the novel "The Minister", took place in the "Aleks Buda" hall of the Albanian Academy of Sciences.

The Mediaprint publishing house had thought of gathering on this special day of the author, on the anniversary of his birth, his friends, book lovers and writers to discuss and comment on "The Minister", which, although it has only been on the market for a short time, has massively aroused the curiosity of readers and why not set a sales record from the start, after its release.
In the packed hall, apart from the director of the Ed Vela Publishing House who was with the author Ahmet Prençi, there were also personalities of letters, including the writer Besnik Mustafaj, Rudolf Marku, Ylljet Aliçka Behar Gjoka, Arben Cejku, Bislim Ahmetaj, Marçel Hila, but there were also book lovers and Mr. Prençi's creativity, as well as leaders and former leaders of institutions and journalists.
Part of the promotion of the novel "Minister" by author Ahmet Prençi was the well-known actor Ervin Bejleri who thrilled the attendees by reading excerpts from the book.
At this meeting, analyses of the book were presented and their assessments were given. The novel "Minister" is a reflection of a reality stripped of rhetoric and immersed in the gray morality of compromise and silence. It comes as a political, emotional and psychological journey towards chilling questions.
During the meeting, the writer Marçel Hila took the floor, who, while highly appreciating the book, stopped and mentioned several names of former Interior Ministers who, according to him, could be the characters of the book. The historian Hila stopped at the message that the novel gives, emphasizing that it is quite clear and significant for our society and should serve as a reflection of what has happened.
Researcher Behar Gjoka, as editor of Ahmet Prenç's first novel (Anja), said that he had read the novel "Minister" twice, the first one still unpublished and the second one 2 hours before the promotion and emphasized that it feels good that the author has moved towards the consolidated growth of his creativity. Among other things, researcher Gjoka emphasized that as a connoisseur and reader of the novel, this work can be read in all forms and all readings do nothing but complement it. Someone sees it as a detective novel, someone as a political novel, someone as a psychological novel, all these overlays are, but if we close our thoughts in the same view, we are incomplete in our judgment. For me, "The Prosecutor's Worry" and "The Minister" are part of a trilogy that carry characters, events and there is no restriction for readers to see it as they like.
Writer Arben Çejku in his speech said that - "The novel "The Minister" is one of Ahmet Prençi's best works, which consolidates his profile as a writer engaged in the search for moral, legal, social and institutional justice, as a courageous intellectual voice that invites us to say "no" to evil, wherever it appears! In this novel, writer Ahmet Prençi dismisses and imprisons his "Minister", the fraudulent criminal, Marjan Boja. Having known his character and professional dedication as a law enforcement officer for many years, I can guarantee you that a Prime Minister like Ahmet Prençi would not only dismiss such a person, but would make him an example for others!"
Continuing his speech, Mr. Çejku emphasized that – “Throughout the text, his critical approach to such persons and phenomena is evident, expressed through the figure of Arsen, the General Director of Police. This is one more reason why I believe in the sincerity and truthfulness of this work, which is not only a reflection of the realities that Mr. Prençi himself has known, but also a complement to current events that are happening around him today. I trust the author and the message of the novel, which invites us to join him in his intellectual call for a catharsis, for a cleansing of politics from crime and corruption, for a vetting of public and administrative figures, as well as for a reflection of our entire society, which is very politicized and very little engaged! Since the day my friend, statesman and writer Ahmet Prençi published the announcement of the publication of his new novel, “The Minister” and until today, I have been following closely the numerous notes and comments that have been made about It is not the first time that Ahmeti's publications are accompanied by an echo of comments, analyses, discussions and publications everywhere. Silence kills a work, while discussions and debates around it give it longevity. I wish that Ahmeti's books are always accompanied by discussions.
Even the writer Rudolf Marku, analyzing the book, gave his assessments of the novel "Minister" and expressed his consideration for the growth of Ahmet Prenç as a writer. He appealed for Mr. Prenç's creativity to be read and even made comparisons, emphasizing the fact that as contemporary literature his works are quite readable because you have what you find starting from the characters, the subject of the work, concrete events, unlike many other books that although you find literature and read them with interest, at the end you don't remember anything.
