The Grand Lodge of Albania announces: Nikolla Nosi, initiator of Freemasonry in Albania, has passed away

The Grand Lodge of Albania, the only regular and recognized Masonic organization in the territory of the Republic of Albania, announces the passing of Nikolla Nosi. He was its founding member and one of the initiators of Freemasonry in Albania.

"With deep sorrow we announce that our esteemed Brother Nikolla Nosi, Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge of Albania, has passed to the Eternal Orient. Brother Nikolla Nosi was one of the initiators of Freemasonry in Albania, a founding member of the Grand Lodge of Albania and a member of the Respected Lodge Arbëria No. 1 in the Orient of Tirana.

A 33rd degree Master of the Scottish Rite, he has served with devotion and integrity for many years in the capacity of Grand Secretary of the LMSH.

"His departure constitutes a great loss for all brothers and for Albanian Freemasonry. His memory and work will remain eternal in our Temple and in our hearts. May his memory be eternal," the announcement states.

The Grand Lodge of Albania was founded to promote and develop Masonic traditions in the country, based on the principles of universalism, brotherhood, and commitment to spiritual and moral development.

Since its founding, the Grand Lodge has played an important role in spreading Masonic ideals and building a strong community based on shared values.

It consists of six lodges spread across different cities in the country, ensuring a wide geographical presence. The lodges serve as places where Masonic rites are performed and where common ideals are pursued to contribute to the progress of society.
