Parents, don't embarrass your children with your fears!

Many young men and women, people who perhaps until yesterday we viewed with a strong eye of distrust, have been in the square for 12 days, giving us a strong lesson - NO to life through servility! NO to life through submission! NO to bowing down in the face of anyone's arrogance!
They have been giving this lecture quietly for days. They have even chosen to do it through a march that is almost like a celebration. That, in fact, the desire to preserve this country, the desire to improve this country, the desire to insist on staying here before turning your back on your homeland, is and should always be a celebration.
They resisted the labels of conspiracies and insults from Prime Minister Rama. They resisted the provocations to give it a violent hue, or to minimize it. They resisted the provocations of Berisha's supporters to unilaterally define their disappointment with the politics that have oppressed them for years. And in almost two weeks they have shown society that nothing is and cannot be stronger than the love to protect this country from those who see it as private property, from those who consider themselves owners of 800 or 500 thousand of those who voted for them.
In this manifestation of strength to succeed in defending this country, the challenge has already passed to the parents of those young people, who must find the courage to support them, to come out in support of them and to be there by their side. Otherwise, all those who in the name of survival bowed their heads these years in the face of arrogance, all those who in these years showed their helplessness in the face of the strong, in the face of those who threatened them with their jobs if they did not vote and think like them, by not supporting these young people, will lose the chance to show in their lives that they have a little self-respect left.
Those young people in protest are a sign that this people is not the heartless people, as Rama or Berisha have tried to label them. These young people show that revolt is much more useful than the blind obedience that has turned Rama and Berisha into heartless masters of the dignity of their voters, taking them for granted as servants of their causes.
So full of colorful thoughts and attitudes, the young people in protest show that what unites them is the desire to see this country with a politics that is accountable for what it does, with government and opposition members who are there not to think of themselves as masters, but as people who want to improve life in this country.
And, finally, all those who had lost hope, saying that "this country is not happening", that "there is no life here", have the chance to support these young people who for almost two weeks have adorned Tirana with their culture, showing that we can, that we as a people have all the power to rebuild what has been destroyed through Rama-Berisha's treatment of Albanians as patrons, as provincials or as "sheep" people.
Many parents today may find themselves in a difficult position facing their bosses who are demanding non-participation in the protest. Many others may be upset about the fact that Albanians have also declared the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, "non grata", putting him on the same rejection poster as Rama. But, nothing has and should not stop the parents of those young people and many others who are supporting them from afar, from finding ways to preserve their dignity in the face of the courage that these young people are telling us on the streets of Tirana with the courage to tell us - Live without servility, live with dignity, live without fear!
The protest may not achieve much. The protest may stop tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, and it will still remain a movement that shook Albanians from their sleep in the face of political arrogance, in the face of politicians' behavior as owners of their voters. But, alas, today's misunderstanding by parents of the courage of these young people will remain there, as an insurmountable abyss of lack of dignity by those who have complained a lot, but have tried little or nothing to live with dignity or to support life through dignity!
To avoid this misunderstanding, parents still have time to support this courage and not be ashamed in front of their children who want a life with dignity!
