Which application was purchased the most by Albanians? Digital games and professional programs lead the way

The applications we use every day clearly reflect digital trends and the way we connect with technology. Even in Albania, users of various devices from Google Play, iOS, Amazon or Mac choose programs that serve daily needs, some of which are free and some are paid.

 According to the latest data from App Figures, for iOS users, it is noted that among the most downloaded applications are banking, ChatGPT, Temu, Threads and Wolt, showing that Albanians are increasingly oriented towards digital financial services, communication platforms and online commerce.

However, when it comes to paid apps, iPhone users remain largely focused on games, with Minecraft continuing to dominate convincingly as the top choice.

On the other hand, Google Play users reflect a similar trend, but with an even stronger focus on artificial intelligence, which holds the top spot on the download list, followed by Temu and banking programs.

In the paid apps category, the situation remains the same as on iOS, with Minecraft continuing to be the most purchased app, showing the enduring popularity of classic games in the Albanian market.

The changes are most noticeable among Mac users, who typically use their computers for work and productivity. WhatsApp Messenger and Word top the list of free downloads, while Canva, a popular graphic design tool, comes in third, followed by Mail for Gmail, clearly showing the professional orientation of Mac users.

For paid apps, Dark Reader for Safari ranks first, a highly sought-after tool that activates dark mode on web pages and provides a more comfortable experience for the eyes while browsing.

Next, Dental Professional appears as a specialized educational application, which offers students and dental professionals detailed 3D models of teeth. These data clearly show that, regardless of the device, Albanian users are looking for practical, useful applications that are in step with global technological developments. /SCAN
