Tragic in London! A person tries to hit pedestrians with a car, here is the condition of the injured

A man has been arrested on charges of attempted murder after pedestrians were hit by a car in London's West End in the early hours of Christmas Day.

The Metropolitan Police said authorities attended at 12.45am on Wednesday following reports of a crash and a car driving on the wrong side of the road on Shaftesbury Avenue in Covent Garden.

Four pedestrians were taken to hospital, while one is in critical condition, police said.

The suspected driver, a 31-year-old man, was arrested on charges of attempted murder.

Police said they believed the suspect was “involved in an altercation at a nightclub before he got into his car and took to the sidewalk.
