"Golden Bullet"/ Tension in the hearing, Ndoc's defense clashes with the court and leaves the courtroom

The next hearing for the "Golden Bullet" case at the GJKKO has been accompanied by tensions and strong clashes between the defense and the jury, turning the courtroom into an arena of procedural debates.

At the center of the discussions was the lawyers' request for a change in the panel of judges. Lawyer Elda Zotaj, who represents Altin Ndocin, requested the judges' exclusion, claiming that her requests were not being considered.

She emphasized the importance of calling several witnesses, who, according to her, could directly influence the resolution of the case in favor of the client.

"We will address the Supreme Court and other institutions, as the law is being violated and the duty is being abused," the lawyer declared during the hearing.

The debate between the parties escalated to the point of her leaving the courtroom. Under these conditions, the trial panel decided to continue the process by appointing a lawyer to guarantee the defendant's legal representation.

Several witnesses from the defense also appeared during the hearing. Among them was Genta Gosa, who testified about the 2019 event in Peqin, where Andi Zylyfi lost his life.

She denied any involvement of her husband in this event, stressing that there were no conflicts between the families. "Relations have been good and without problems," she said.

Altin Ndoci is considered a high-risk person, especially after his escape from the Durrës regional hospital in January of this year. The trial against him is part of the file known as the "Golden Bullet", one of the most closely followed cases by the special justice system in the country.
