Ahmet Prenç's novel "The Minister" is promoted in Kamëz. It receives praise from Ben Blushi, Ylljet Aliçka, Arben Çejku and Monika Stafa

Kamza today had a cultural event to mark for several reasons. First, the hall of the "Angela Merkel" school was filled, if not overflowing, as is rare, secondly, a new novel was promoted under the auspices of the Kamza Municipality and the Publishing House, and thirdly, the name of the author, a beloved character not only as a writer, but also a statesman, was close to the citizens of Kamza to share with them the joy and his new literary creation, the novel "Minister".
Present at this meeting, in addition to the host, the Mayor of the Municipality Rakip Suli, were also the publisher of the novel "Minister" Elda Vela, the writers Ben Blushi, Arben Çejku and YlljetAliçka, as well as the actors Ervin Bejleri and Ola Arizaj, who performed parts from the novel, making the hall tremble.
The meeting was moderated by the icon of literary meetings, Monika Stafa. The hall was full of book lovers from Kamza of all ages, where even before the meeting started, their interest in Ahmet Prenç's newest publication was clearly evident, as dozens of literature lovers received the book at the Publishing House stand before the event even started. Moderator and journalist Monika Stafa said at the opening of this event - "I am very happy to be participating in a book event. Today we have gathered for a very interesting novel, which this time has been praised with enthusiasm, unlike his first two novels, "Anja" and "Prosecutor". If in the first two novels I noticed an increased artistic language, in "Minister", which in the title, we have a political depth. This remains a model novel. Such novels with political whimsy are among the best-selling. I wish the author even greater success and inspiration."
Publisher Eda Vela, thanking the Municipality of Kamëz and Mayor Rakip Suli for their support for the book and culture, emphasized that she is pleased to be present at the promotion of the novel "Minister". "We have sat down with Ahmeti several times to discuss our thoughts, until in the end Ahmeti's creature has already taken "wings". With this book, Ahmeti has placed our conscience in front of the mirror. A clash of titans takes place in its pages. It is a strong message for a country that often forgets, forgives, but in the end always suffers the consequences. I think this is a novel with a rich filmic language, I even think that Mr. Ylljet Aliçka should consider it a trilogy for a film. It is a deep political and emotional journey, which leads the reader to face questions about justice and responsibility. I invite you to read it" - said Ms. Vela.
Writer and screenwriter Ylljet Aliçka said in his speech: -"It doesn't happen often that literature brings so many people together. But after we visited the school "Angela Merke: with colleagues and the mayor Suli, we also got to know the achievements of this municipality, it comes naturally when you see so many people, it's to be greeted! Today we gathered for the book, fortunately I have followed the literature of Ahmet Prenç and it is not easy for one writer to talk about another. Knowing his journey, I liked this last book more than the others. Elda made a proposal. This is a book that provokes you to make a film and I can propose that it be made into a film. It is a book that has intrigue and provokes many questions. One of the features that I would say that surprised me is that it is a very mature, wise book, this is also thanks to its institutional experience. There are 2 approaches: historical-political, cold analysis, and literary-emotional that breaks it down. This book is a powerful diagnosis of Albanian society that does not make moralizing, but harsh realities that provoke dilemmas and questions. There are mature analyses of Albanian reality and our society. I wish Ahmeti success and I see that he is a rising star even abroad. Congratulations!”.
Present at this promotion was also the writer Ben Blushi icili, who in his speech said “Thank you very much! When they invite us to meetings like this, publishers have one goal: to convince you to buy as many books as possible. Is it worth buying? 3 reasons: With this book, you have bought a book, a film and the life of Ahmet Prenç. In two words, this book tells the story of a bandit, who certainly was not from Kamza because Kamza has no bandits, who after a very difficult and problematic life, escapes from Albania, to integrate somehow, but does something that many women do today, what is called plastic surgery to lose track of himself. After thinking that he has lost track of himself, this bandit returns and enters politics. He seeks votes, becomes Minister of the Interior. And when I told you that you bought the film, the book and the life of Ahmet Prençi, first of all, is this an important topic in our society? Does politics today cooperate with crime as much as this character of Ahmet Prençi? Unfortunately, yes. I do not want to make political morals, but this is the theme of the book. Ahmeti Prençi has had the skill to explain this thing.
Ben Blushi further says: -“Ahmeti was one of the best police directors Albania has ever had. And such a person shows the connection between politics and crime, no one can know it better than him. When I was reading the book, I remembered “The Pirate Becomes Pope”, it was a book banned under communism, which told how a bandit, in the 17th century, became a priest, then a Pope; in the end they understood and after catching him, they put him in prison. Even the character of Ahmeti gave morale to the people, they put him in prison, that's how the book ends. The main thing to understand is Ahmet Prenç's relationship with the truth. The first, sincerity and will, which Ahmet Prenç has both. He has a lot of will, he has started publishing 2 books a year. People today have less and less relationship with writers, a writer like Ahmeti works 6 months for a book, a singer like Noizy 6 days. 1 million people listen to him people, 1 thousand people. But ours is a colossal job, very difficult. Ahmeti has masterfully achieved this. I really liked it, well written, economical, honest and with interesting characters. For me, Ahmeti himself shines above all. He has shown a part of his life. In the end, good triumphs and Ahmeti, the state, manages to catch the bandit where he deserves it. This is the book in a nutshell. It is really worth buying the book, get to know an Albania that you don't know better than the one he wrote about. " Ben Blushi returned to his request for the proposal that the Municipality of Kamëz build, name a street in Kamëz "Rruga e Shkrimtarëve". In the end, I will say what Elda and Ylli said: this book is so interesting that it could be a fantastic film. If this film were made with several series, like those on Netflix, a very beautiful series, a lot of speed and characters that we have in our lives, that when you watch the film they give a lot of different feelings. I believe that there is no better motivation for a writer than when he meets his readers, so give him support to make even better books than that. Present at the promotion and on the panel, the writer Arben Cejku said in his speech: - "Honorable mayor, our dear friend Rakip Suli, and everyone present. Thank you very much for bringing us together, Ahmet, in your successes. Is this a political literature? This novel is part of a political literature, of social engagement, and I am glad that in his third book comes the novel "Minister" as a success, the third true one. This novel, in all aspects, is not simply an achievement for the author, but for all Albanian literature. I am sure that Rakip and Ahmet have been on a journey for a long time. Ahmeti has had 2 successful novels, you have 2 mandates and the third will be very successful. I, who am from the Luma area, feel proud and privileged with two friends who each excel in their own field." Further, Mr. Çejku said that – “The novel “Minister” is actually a parallel. I didn't know that Mr. Blushi would be here,It is a way that reminds me of Mr. Blushi's "Candidate". The cause and effect are political. Blushi, in "Candidate", presents a crisis of politics as you enter, you are abused to occupy a political position, and in "Minister" we have a person with legal problems who is penetrated by political corruption. And when there is political corruption, the consequences are of course going to be later. There are similar parallels in other literature, where a statesman survives and understands between idealism and the pressure that he goes through as a statesman. I don't want to go into detail, but I consider this type of literature to be of social realism. The difference with socialist realism was that it showed how society should be, while social realism shows how society is through phenomena that are negative and we should see from the positive side. We all need to reflect beyond literature. Thank you, I will forward my notes to Ahmeti. Thank you for making me a part of it.
Actor Ervin Bejleri, in addition to his performance, said in one of his interventions: - "Ahmet, I want to thank you for making me part of the book "Minister". Your books have started to become like rockets that fly, they are all very successful. Ahmet, I want to thank you for making me part of this book. Your books have started to become like rockets that fly, they rise high and are very successful". The same goes for actress Ola Harizaj, who performed a part of the book with a scene different from the rhythm of the novel: "Thank you! I apologize, but the fault is not mine, but Ahmeti's who ignited our senses before dawn. The reason why I chose this is because it seemed to me that there was a lot of political talk and there are many moments so it is worth it".
