The US Embassy in Tirana has shared on social media the message of US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, regarding the visa restrictions on 75 members and associates of the Mexican drug cartel, Sinaloa.

"The State Department is tightening visa restrictions on individuals who "work on behalf of adversaries of the United States," the US embassy wrote in a Facebook post.

In a post on the social network X, Rubio wrote a few days ago that the Trump administration continues to make our country and region safer and stronger.

"Today, I am taking steps to impose visa restrictions on 75 individuals who are family members or close associates of individuals associated with the Sinaloa Cartel, sanctioned under Executive Order 14059.

"The State Department will continue to protect Americans from dangerous narcoterrorists and deadly drugs," was Marco Rubio's message.
