Albania 'burns' the Eurovision stage, "Electronic Shkodra" shines in Basel

Albania has just performed on the giant stage of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, which marks the 69th edition of the largest music festival in Europe. Our country's performance was warmly received by the hall in Basel, Switzerland.

The spectacle of today's final began at 9:00 PM and was also released on YouTube for the international audience. After an exciting week with two semi-finals, tonight 26 countries took to the grand stage to compete for the trophy coveted by the entire continent.

On the grand stage of the competition for the coveted Eurovision trophy, Albania has occupied a special place. According to the decision of the Swiss host television SRG SSR, our country was ranked 26th to sing – a position that is often associated with the strongest impressions and the greatest attention from the public and juries.

This year, Albania was represented by the group Shkodra Elektronike with the song “Zjerm” – a unique combination of electronic music with elements of traditional Albanian heritage. This mix has attracted a lot of attention on social networks and has aroused interest among European music lovers. With a powerful visual performance and a clear artistic identity, hopes for a high result are greater than ever before.
