“Golden Ball 2025” / Captain Berat Gjimshiti is elected “National Player of the Year”

For the second year in a row, at the "Golden Ball" Gala Evening, where a special space is dedicated to the Albanian National Team, captain Berat Gjimshiti was honored with the prestigious "National Team Player of the Year" award.

The special award was presented to him by the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama.

Berat Gjimshiti led the Albanian National Team to another historic achievement, securing qualification for the World Cup play-off stage, where Albania, for the first time in history, will attempt to secure a place in the World Cup in March 2026.

His selection as "National Player of the Year" was made through votes from the Albanian National Team players themselves.
