Shkodra/ Threatened young man with firearm, 26-year-old arrested

A gun incident occurred today in the "Tre Heronjtë" neighborhood in Shkodra, where a conflict over weak motives ended with shots fired in the air. Thanks to the police response, the suspected perpetrator was caught and arrested.

According to the official announcement, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the General Patrol and with the support of the "Eagle" Special Force, immediately organized the work to identify and arrest the perpetrator as soon as they received information about the incident.

The police arrested citizen A. Sh., 26 years old, who is suspected of threatening a 20-year-old man, Xh. G., by shooting an automatic firearm into the air.

During the search, police services also seized the firearm used in the incident.

The authorities announce that investigations continue for the full documentation of the case, while the procedural materials have been transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra for further action.
