Sudanese arrested in Korça for helping 6 immigrants cross the border illegally

A 24-year-old Sudanese man has been arrested by the Police in Korça, suspected of helping 6 foreign immigrants cross the border illegally.
According to the Police, as part of the "Itinerary 2" operation, citizen MJ, 24 years old, resident of Darfur, Sudan, was arrested in flagrante delicto .
He was captured in a place called "Fusha e Parë", above the village of Drenovë, Korçë, after it is suspected that, in return for payment, he helped 6 immigrants cross illegally from Greece into the territory of Albania, with the aim of continuing their journey towards European Union countries.
The materials for both cases have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Korça Court of First Instance, for further procedural actions.
