Erjon Llapushi, one of the wanted persons whose apartment is being searched today as part of the massive operation taking place in Pogradec, is not an unknown name to the justice system.
In 2007, Erjon Llapushi attempted to shoot Andi Sukollar.
A year later, in a bar in the city of Pogradec, Llapushi wounded Mariglen Topuzi, who fortunately survived the wounds.
In 2019, Erjon Llapushi, in collaboration with Saimir Fraholli, through pressure and blackmail, forced various businessmen from Pogradec to donate shares in their companies. In the prosecution file available to News24, the testimonies of the shareholders of the companies have been revealed, explaining to investigators the brutality with which the gang members acted, in order to get them to sign contracts for the donation of shares.
In December 2018, two businessmen brothers sought help from the institutions, as they felt their lives and those of their families were in danger. They informed the prosecutor's office that they had suspended their work for this reason. They then sold the shares to a third person.
On May 29, 2021, Erjon Llapushi was arrested again for transporting 24 illegal immigrants to EU countries.
Meanwhile, in January 2020, Erjon Llapushi was the subject of Operation Force of Law, but no assets were seized.
While in October 2021, Llapushi killed a waiter in a restaurant, Gazment Kurmaku, who did not allow him to sit at one of the tables, which was previously reserved.
