Albanian man who killed his wife in Italy found seriously injured, what is suspected

Nazif Muslija, the 50-year-old Albanian man who shocked public opinion in Italy after killing his wife, Sadjide Muslija, in the city of Ancona, has been found seriously injured by Italian authorities. Investigators suspect he attempted to end his life.

According to Italian media , Muslija was found at around 16:30 by a hunter, who gave him first aid and immediately notified the police. Following the discovery, the Ancona prosecutor's office issued an international arrest warrant against him and ordered an autopsy to be performed on the victim's body.

The Carabinieri have returned to the apartment where Sadjide Muslija was found murdered, to collect additional evidence and to find the hard tool suspected of being used in the crime.

We recall that the 49-year-old woman was found dead in her bed, with severe signs of violence on her head and chest. Nazif Muslija had a history of domestic violence and had been previously arrested for attacking his wife with an axe.

After the murder, he fled in a Smart car, while his phone had been switched off since yesterday morning. Italian authorities are investigating to fully clarify the motives of the incident and the circumstances of his injury.
