The name of Ergys Agasi became known in the media after the interview of the former minister Arben Ahmetaj for the Italian television, Rai3. Ahmetaj made strong accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the connections he claims Rama has with organized crime. According to him, these connections are coordinated by Ergys Agasi. According to him, the latter is located in Durrës, near the mafia clan in that city.
