A serious accident resulting in death was recorded this evening on the Kavajë-Rrogozhinë road axis.
According to preliminary information, at around 20:15, near the Gosa overpass, a vehicle driven by citizen RQ, 39 years old, hit a pedestrian, whose identity has not yet been revealed.
As a result of the injuries sustained, the pedestrian died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle has been escorted to the police station for further procedural actions, while the investigation team is at the scene.
Meanwhile, authorities are working to identify the victim, as well as to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident.
