2 underground parking floors and above-ground recreational park, the winner of the 5 billion lek tender in Vlora is announced

The company Valona Konstruksion has been announced the winner of the tender with the object "Construction of multimodal mobility nodes, Region 3 & 4: Construction of underground parking building, Vlora", according to the procurement procedure documents.
The winning bid was presented at a value of 512.5 million lek or about 5.2 million euros, while the limit fund of the procedure was 595 million lek, i.e. 13.9% lower than the limit fund foreseen by the contracting authority, which in this case is the Albanian Development Fund.
The project will be implemented in the western part of the city of Vlora and envisages the construction of a two-story underground parking building, accompanied by a recreational park on the surface.
According to the technical documentation, the facility is designed on a plot with a total area of 9,557.76 square meters. One of the parking levels, floor -1, will have an area of 9,235.98 square meters, reports Monitor.al.
The documents specify that the functional solution aims to maximize the optimization of parking space. Floor -1 will be used for parking lots and technical facilities, including water tanks, while auxiliary facilities, such as toilets, will be located at floor 0.
The estimated parking capacity amounts to 295 parking spaces. Of these, five spaces are reserved for people with disabilities, while six spaces are planned for electric vehicles.
The technical documentation also defines the method of surface treatment above the parking structure. The square will be constructed with the same finish as the existing pavement, with concrete cut with a saw every three meters and with 100×100 centimeter granite slabs integrated into it.
The tender is part of the project for the construction of multimodal mobility hubs in Region 3 and Region 4.
