One year in prison for Carlo Ancelotti! Former Real Madrid coach sentenced by Spanish court for tax evasion

Carlo Ancelotti was sentenced today by a Madrid court, where the court case against him for years was being conducted for financial fraud to the detriment of the Spanish state. The trial was related to his first stint at Real Madrid, for concealing income from the Italian technician in 2014 and 2015.
The case has been dealt with in recent years, as has happened before with many other former footballers or coaches who were in Spain and used tax havens for their payments, avoiding paying taxes. Ancelotti was on trial for concealing income in the fiscal years 2014 and 2014, being ultimately punished only for the first, while he was found not guilty of the second.
According to Spanish media, the court found him guilty in 2014, sentencing him to one year in prison and a fine of 386,361.93 euros. Ancelotti will not go to prison, as this sentence will be lifted with the payment of the fine in question and the arrears, which the Italian technician had paid in 2021, for a total of just over 1 million euros.
