This is the painful reality that Nikolla Çepa, 60, from the village of Dhoksat, finds himself in today. Every day is filled with anxiety for him and his family, as the apartment they live in has become a serious danger to their lives.

With tears in his eyes, Nikolla says that he does not leave his house, because every stone of it was built with his sweat over the years. Ten years ago, the apartment suffered minor damage from an earthquake and at that time a damage assessment was also made. However, despite this assessment, he has not received any assistance from Civil Emergencies.

Today, the situation has worsened significantly. Heavy rains in November have severely damaged the structure of the house, cracking the walls, weakening the foundations, and making it completely uninhabitable. The danger is present at any moment, but the family has no other alternative shelter.
