US sends B-2 bombers towards Iran, Trump: We are being polite, we could have completely destroyed it
US Central Command has released a video of stealth B-2 bombers preparing to deploy to Iran.
The aircraft are "delivering long-range firepower not only to neutralize the threat posed by the Iranian regime today, but also to destroy its ability to regroup in the future," Pentagon officials said.
President Donald Trump also updated on the day's developments and the US-Israeli military operation.
Trump made a call to Fox News on Friday, noting once again that the US could have completely destroyed Iran's infrastructure, but "we're being polite."
“We’re being polite,” he said, among other things, and boasted that “I can destroy things within the next hour, power plants, thermal power plants, they have desalination plants everywhere. We can do things so destructive that they could never rebuild as a nation. We’re trying to be polite. They’ll go out and shoot civilians everywhere, but we don’t do that.”
