Edon Zhegrova will be Juventus' newest player, with the Kosovo Albanian star having landed in Turin to undergo medicals with the Black and Whites and then sign a contract.
But this transfer seems to have caused the Kosovo national team to leave the 26-year-old out of the World Cup qualifiers.
The manager of the "Dardane" representative team, Bajram Shala, announced at the beginning of the conference that two names were missing from the list that was initially published.
Right-back Florent Hadergjonaj is absent due to an injury.
Meanwhile, an even bigger absence than Hadergjonaj is Edon Zhegrova.
Shala said that after the coach spoke with Zhegrova, it was decided that he would not come to this training camp, considering his commitment to completing his transfer to Juventus.
The 26-year-old has not played a single match since November last year due to a serious injury and for this reason, coach Franco Foda seems to have decided not to risk Zhegrova at a delicate moment in his career, even though the striker's name appeared on the list published a few days ago.
