Albanian defender Marash Kumbulla is transferred to Espanyol

Albanian defender Marash Kumbulla has temporarily left Rome to join Espanyol.

After his short loan spell at Sassuolo, Kumbulla is now off to Spain where he will play for Espanyol.

"Marash Kumbulla is already in blue and white", writes the Spanish club in a post on Instagram.

While Rome in an official announcement stated: 

"The club can confirm that Marash Kumbulla has joined Espanyol on loan for the 2024-2025 season. 

In three seasons with Roma, the Albanian defender made 68 appearances and scored four goals. Good luck, Marash!”

Meanwhile, the Albanian defender thanked the Rome club in a post on InstaStory.
