AFF supports Aleksander Čefer in the race for UEFA Presidency

The Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Association met this Thursday and made an important decision regarding European football, unanimously approving the proposal of President Armand Duka regarding the candidacy that the Albanian Football Association will support for the position of UEFA President, and that is the current president, Aleksander Čeferin.
The two-term president of the Albanian Football Association (AFHA) is part of the highest European football organization, as he holds the position of vice-president of UEFA.
"The Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Federation, at the meeting held today, reviewed and unanimously approved the proposal of President Armand Duka regarding the candidacy that the AFF will support for the position of UEFA President.
This decision comes as an expression of the utmost appreciation for President Čeferin's leadership, vision and contribution to the development of European football over recent years.
The AFF believes that the continuity of UEFA's leadership by Aleksander Čeferin will guarantee stability, progress and further support for all member associations.
"The 51st UEFA Congress, where elections for the President and members of the UEFA Executive Committee will take place, will be held on 22 April 2027 in Astana, Kazakhstan," writes the AHF.
