DP leader Sali Berisha held a conference with journalists in the Azem Hajdari hall, at the DP headquarters.
Berisha has reacted harshly to the serious incident that occurred in Korça where police officer Enea Mekolli was killed and another officer was injured.
Berisha condemned the incident, emphasizing that the murder of the policeman proves that order, law and security are in the hands of crime.
"Sponsored crime. He was an idealistic man. His brother had passed away. His family is a family with great contributions. But as painful as it is, the cruel murder by a criminal hand of a police officer on duty, so criminal and ugly is the attitude of the state, of the drug state towards the murderer who had been wanted for 9 years, and was financed with state funds, to build stables, guest houses for cattle as if he were a dedicated farmer. The murder of Enea Mekolli proves that order, law and security are in the hands of crime," he said.
