"Protesters want other scenarios"/ Berisha: The April 17 protest will be peaceful!

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during a conversation with his followers on Facebook, emphasized that the April 17 protest will be peaceful and that the opposition does not aim to seize power by force. He accused the government of the Durrës port affair and the deteriorating situation in the healthcare system, while also praising the figure of Eliot Engel after his death.
" We will do everything for his removal and the DP does not fulfill its mission if it does not remove Edi Rama so that Albanians can live freely ."
This was one of the answers that Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha gave during a conversation with his followers on the social network Facebook. The Democratic Party leader made it clear that the protest called for April 17 will be peaceful, although citizens have also expressed preferences for other scenarios.
" We have never, under any circumstances, and never since our founding until today, intended and do not intend to take power by force. This is our alternative and we remain loyal to this alternative. I agree that many of the protesters would like other scenarios, but I am sure that this peaceful scenario is the best, which will lead us towards the realization of our goal ."
In addition to denouncing the Durrës port affair, as he calls it, Berisha also focused on the health system, which he said is the sector most destroyed by the Rama government, adding that even basic tests are not provided to citizens.
After observing a minute of silence, Berisha stopped to appreciate the figure of Eliot Engel, after his passing. “ In my political life, I have never known a man who has done more for our nation with as much love and passion as he could, than Eliot Engel! ”
