"Supported by the Americans"/ Journalist: There will be an anti-Rama movement within the SP!

Journalist Almer Toska, invited to the News24 studio, spoke about political developments in the country and what he described as a possible scenario within the Socialist Party that, according to him, could lead to the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama from leading the government.
During the interview, Toska was critical of several Socialist Party exponents, stating that she does not expect them to come out against Rama at this moment.
"I don't expect the scum of Albania in the SP that is there today to vote against Rama. These are scum, they don't represent Albanian society," the journalist said.
However, according to him, within the Socialist Party there could be a movement against the prime minister, which would include well-known figures of this political force and which, according to his claims, would also have international support.
"Within the PS there will be an anti-Rama movement and there will be old exponents and this is supported by the Americans ," Toska declared.
He also mentioned several well-known names from the Socialist Party who, according to him, could be included in this movement, such as Gramoz Ruçi, Erion Veliaj, Fatmir Xhafaj or even Arben Ahmetaj.
"Today there is a movement within the Socialist Party that Gramoz Ruçi, Erion Veliaj, Fatmir Xhafaj, Arben Ahmetaj could join," he said.
According to the journalist, a possible scenario could even lead to early elections if the political situation escalates.
"We will have early elections if Rama keeps Balluk by force. The SP wins again, but Rama will not be the candidate for prime minister. It will be a name from this group that I mentioned," Toska said.
