Investigations against Balluk, SPAK searches Arbër Abazi's home and office

The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office has today conducted several inspections as part of the investigations against Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

It is reported that SPAK has conducted searches in the apartment and office of Arbër Abazi, who also has family ties to Balluk, as he lives with the daughter of the deputy prime minister's aunt.

The controls are mainly related to the tender procedures for the lots of the Tirana Ring Road.

The Special Prosecution Office has submitted a request to the Parliament, requesting the lifting of Balluk's immunity, thus paving the way for her arrest.
