The secretary for foreign relations in DP, Gentian Gaba, has reacted after the statements of MP Tomorr Alizoti, after learning that he was expelled from the parliamentary group of DP, which he does not go to and does not know for more than a year. Gaba writes that he remembers like today, when just a few minutes after the suspension of Berisha from the parliamentary group of the DP, Alizoti, who today sits behind Berisha, was among the most enthusiastic and declared that the PD cannot be Sali Berisha's foundation.

I remember it like today, it was September 9, a few minutes after the suspension of Berisha from the parliamentary group, there were PD deputies in the meeting hall. By the grace of God, the group that had historically developed its career alongside Berisha, maintained a consistent position. Others agreed with the need to separate the personal issue of Berisha due to her non-wife, to protect the interests of DP and the partnership with the USA. Events take place, decisions are taken, even by the deputies who today deny their signatures and votes in institutions for suspensions and expulsions. I remembered the evening of September 9, 2021, because today I read a comment about Basha by Tomor Alizoti. Although today he is by Berisha's side, that day he declared with conviction that the suspension was the right decision to protect relations with the USA.
