NAMES/ Trial against Meta and Kryemadhi, SPAK requests the questioning of dozens of witnesses

The Special Prosecution Office has requested the questioning of dozens of witnesses in connection with the ongoing trial of Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi.

These are: Jozef Hajse, Ervis Mataj, Ardian Shatku, Pirro Xhixho, Ema Çoku, Esmeralda Shkjau, Ardian Shatku, Kastriot Ismailaj, Vojsava Ismailaj, Milena Harito, Perparim Spahiu, Sokol Hysenaj, Majlind Lazimi, Agron Cela, Luan Rama, Endrit Brahimllari, Samir Mane, Petrit Vasili, Spartak Braho, Ilir Kulla, Fatos Mahmutaj, Theodhori Çami, Nasip Naco, Vangjel Tavo, Lindita Troka, Baton Haxhiu, Erjol Brahimllari, Damian Gjiknuri and Ralf Gjoni.

Meanwhile, the court has not yet responded to SPAK's request.

Meta and Kryemadhi are accused of corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets, in connection with the CEZ-DIA case and lobbying contracts with the United States of America.

While the defendants, Fatima Kryemadhi, Ema Coku, on charges of money laundering and Piro Xhixho, on charges of corruption.

Former President Meta denies the accusations and claims that the trial against him is politically motivated.
