Alimehmeti: Bylykbashi should no longer be co-chair of Electoral Reform

Ilir Alimehmeti from the Off the Record studio stated that Oerd Bylykbashi should no longer be co-chair of the electoral reform commission.

The former candidate for MP stated that Bylykbashi admitted that the code he used in the last elections was wrong and therefore he should not remain in the same place, where he could make a second mistake.

"The Electoral Code implemented in 2024 was a mistake and I have said this to Mr. Bylykbashi earlier. But this means that when you make a mistake you cannot be in the same position to make a second mistake. This year the difference is that from the votes the SP can make the changes itself. The DP must maintain firm positions and must make decisions from the DP structures. If it is not discussed, we have an internal problem. The DP had it in hand, now the SP has everything. Bylykbashi defended it in 2024 and then said it is a wrong code, either he did not understand it or he has a problem ," Alimehmeti told journalist Danglli on A2 CNN.
