President Osmani mandates Albin Kurti to form the new Government

Kosovo's President, Vjosa Osmani, on Saturday mandated the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, to attempt to form the country's new Government, eight months after the general elections.

The Kosovo Presidency announced on Facebook that Osmani signed the decree on Saturday mandating Kurti, who is the acting Prime Minister, to form the new Government.

The decision comes after the day before, the Kosovo Assembly was finally constituted with the election of the fifth and final deputy speaker from the Serb minority.
