The number of high school graduates is falling again this year, special tests for those with disabilities

Emigration and a declining birthrate are significantly shrinking the younger generation. Even fewer high school graduates will be taking the State Matura exams this year.
Around 26,500 young people across the country have begun preparations for the completion of high school and their orientation towards universities, both domestically and abroad.
Deputy Minister of Education, Orjana Osmani, indicates that currently high school graduates have completed the A1 form for determining elective subjects, which also indicates their orientation towards universities.
"Consultations have begun in all schools in Albania to help students prepare for all exams," she says. "On January 7, we also published mock tests that we believe have helped high school graduates prepare."
Although every year the administration of the Matura is a process that encounters problems in almost every exam, the number two of the Ministry of Education indicates the measures being taken to avoid the release of the thesis. "All those responsible must exercise their authority for the smooth conduct of the exam," she says.
Meanwhile, this year, high school graduates with disabilities will also have special tests with a lower level of difficulty. Their grades will have the same weight as those of students taking standard tests.
The State Matura begins in June with the foreign language exam, on the 2nd. The Albanian language and literature exam takes place on June 9, while the mathematics exam takes place on June 16. The State Matura ends with the elective subject exam on June 23./ A2 CNN
