The Regional Directorate of the National Food Authority for Shkodra County has reported to the prosecutor's office a commercial entity that imports corn from Serbia. The entity in question is "Modi" shpk, in whose warehouses in Shkodra 24 tons of refried corn have been blocked, resulting in aflatoxin B1 levels above the norm.

The subject in question, according to the report drafted by this directorate, is accused of 'Fraud with food products'.

After this directorate initially blocked the quantity of goods imported from Serbia, pending the release of the analyses, the entity in question is accused of having violated the law again, by 'touching' the products blocked by the National Food Authority.
