Why doesn't the opposition in Albania seem at all desperate and gloomy?

Life in opposition is bleak, filled with despair. David Lidington, a long-serving British politician and political scholar, says he spent 13 years in opposition with the Conservatives, from 1997 to 2010, when Cameron won.
He says that life is bleak and full of despair, but you have the luxury of having a lot of time and that helps you create an alternative.
In the first days of parliament after the defeats, he says that the gloom and despair are increased by the losses of colleagues who are no longer MPs and by the opponent's big victories.
But, patiently trying to produce an alternative is the only source of strength to fight.
"We," he says, "tried for 13 years, changed 5 chairmen, changed almost the entire group of deputies, produced civic and credible ideas and discourse, and won very late.
"We won late because we gave the opposition a bad start, we gave it a bad start because we couldn't accept our losses and our being in crisis."
The opposition in Albania does not seem at all desperate and gloomy. It looks the same, there is no sign of despair or melancholy among its deputies.
No one seems to be sad about their colleagues' losses, or about their opponent's overwhelming victory.
Let there then be an acceptance of the crisis, reflection, the removal of the five chairmen or the removal of the entire group. No way.
It's the same language, the same body as 12 years ago, and no attempt to be a change or an alternative.
Maybe they are right, they don't feel at all that they are the opposition, that they have any bit of opposition responsibility.
