US Embassy in Kuwait Closes! State Department Calls on American Citizens: Leave the Middle East

The US embassy in Kuwait has been closed "until further notice." The statement distributed on X said the decision was made due to "ongoing regional tensions."
"We have canceled all consular meetings - regular and emergency," the post says.
Earlier, the US State Department urged Americans in many parts of the Middle East, including Kuwait, to leave by commercial means, due to "serious security risks."
The closure of the embassy in Kuwait comes after the US Embassy in Riyadh was attacked by two drones overnight.
