Kallas: The US is Europe's greatest ally

The EU High Representative for Foreign Policy, Kaja Kallas, said that the United States is still Europe's main ally, following the new US National Security Strategy, which criticizes European institutions.

"Of course, there are many criticisms, but I think some of them are true," Kallas said at the Doha Forum, in response to a question about the US strategy.

He also stated that despite not always agreeing on many issues, the general principle is still true.

"The United States is still our greatest ally. I think we haven't always agreed on many issues, but I think the general principle still holds true. We are the greatest allies and we have to stand together ," she stressed.
