OSHEE head arrested in Mirdita after being caught with stolen vehicle

An OSHEE employee has been arrested by the Lezha Police, after being accused of the criminal offense of theft. Ervin Kodra, OSHEE's head for Mirdita, was placed in handcuffs.

According to sources, he was caught by police officers while he was retrieving from the riverbank a vehicle that had been reported stolen in Korça. While the license plates on it were stolen in Elbasan.

Ervin Kodra claimed that his vehicle had been left there, but without providing any statements about how or why the stolen car, as well as the license plates superimposed on the stolen ones, had fallen into Kodra's hands.

His claims that his car got stuck in the river have been dismissed by the investigation team.

Investigations are ongoing to clarify the circumstances and whether or not this tool was used in any criminal incident.
