"The Tirana-Durrë highway will be closed on Monday", ARRSH makes an important announcement: Take the old Shijak road

The Tirana-Durrës highway will be partially closed on Monday, October 13. This is announced by the Albanian Road Authority and the Ministry of Infrastructure, calling on all drivers to use the old road towards Shijak.
The Albanian Road Authority announces that it has started the implementation of the project "Emergency for the repair of asphalt substrates and layers on the Vorë-Ura e Dajlanit road segment".
Starting from 13.10.2025, Monday, there will be traffic congestion in the Vorë-Durrës direction, respectively in these segments:
- Fllakë-Shkozet Overpass,
- Shkozet-Dajlan Bridge Overpass.
The duration of the works is expected to be 1–2 days for each segment and the authorities suggest that all users of this road use the alternative route Vorë-Maminas-Katër trjes e Shijakut-Durrës.
Meanwhile, after the completion of the works on the Vorë-Durrës side, work will continue on the other side, the Dajlanit Bridge-Vorë, according to the same segments and duration. The Albanian Road Authority asks for the understanding of citizens and drivers for this intervention.
