Croatia blocks another shipment of Albanian products at the border. It is learned that a quantity of pistachio cream (pistachio paste) was blocked, with the presence of a poisonous toxin.

The European RASFF system has announced that a shipment of 'pistachio paste' or peanut butter from Albania has been stopped at the border due to the high presence of Aflatoxin.

Samples for this shipment were taken by Croatian authorities on September 8, and after the shipment resulted in a high presence of the toxin, it was destroyed there.

The notification to the European system was made on October 3, so that other countries that have received this product can also block its trade and use.
