Part of the Call Center fraud at 'Atti Tower', David Prendi caught in Tirana

During a police operation, yesterday, 28-year-old David Prendi was located and arrested, after the SPAK special prosecution had issued the security measure "Arrest in Prison" against him since February 2026.

This measure was imposed on Prendi after his involvement in online stock market fraud schemes through the "Call Center" network was proven.

David Prendi is suspected of involvement in the criminal offenses of "Computer Fraud", committed in collaboration within a "Structured Criminal Group", as well as "Structured Criminal Group" and "Commitment of Criminal Offenses by a Structured Criminal Group".

His arrest is related to the investigations into the "Call Center" discovered by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH) on the premises of "Atti Tower", where illegal activities were allegedly carried out through online fraud.

We recall that this issue returned to the spotlight after the investigation of two investigative shows "La Iene" in collaboration with "Piranjat" in Albania.

Through a press statement, Tirana police announced the following:

"Cybercrime Investigation Specialists: arrested citizen DP, 28 years old, after a detention order was issued against him by the Special Prosecution Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime, as a suspect for the criminal offenses "Computer fraud", committed in collaboration in the form of a structured criminal group, "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a structured criminal group."

David Prendi is suspected of being one of the derivatives of the three brothers from Tropoja, Agim, Alfred and Arjan Prekaj, wanted by SPAK as the bosses of one of the most powerful call center networks in Tirana. /Elton Qyno, Syri.net
